Autohellas Hertz emerged as a leading company for 2016

Autohellas Hertz emerged as a “True Leader” at ICAP’s 7th True Leaders Awards for the year 2016 at an event, which was held in the presence of important institutional representatives and distinguished business executives.
In particular, and out of a total of 15,000 businesses surveyed for 2016, only 68 Companies and Groups managed to distinguish.
This distinction came as a result of the successful and lasting upward business activity of Autohellas Herz, based on specific objective and measurable criteria. According to this, Autohellas Hertz has emerged as a leading car leasing and rental company, since it is among the 500 most profitable companies in 2016, it is included in the companies that have managed to increase their staff and their job positions, they are firmly among the leading companies in their industry based on their turnover while also exhibiting a particularly high ICAP Credit Score.

More specifically, in recent years the company has achieved excellent growth and economic growth figures. Annual turnover increased from € 141.2 million. in 2015 to € 161.4 million in 2016 and today Autohellas Hertz is one of the largest companies of the sector in our country. Similarly, the Group increased its turnover from € 182.9 million in 2015 to € 264.8 million in 2016. The Group operates in 8 countries, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Romania and Ukraine, and has the largest privately owned network with more than 125 service points. Having the exclusive right to use all Hertz International brand names (Hertz, Thrifty, Dollar, Firefly), Autohellas is Hertz’s largest national franchisee worldwide. Also in 2016 and after the absorption of Technochar and Velmar, Autohellas began its activity in the import, sales and distribution of cars.

The glorious ceremony was presented by journalist Elena Tsagka and was attended by close to 400 top executives of the Greek market. The awards were presented after the greetings of Mr. Konstantinos Bitsios, Executive Vice President of the Association of Enterprises and Industries (SEV), Mr. Michalis Siamidis, Vice President of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Mr. Nikitas Konstandelos, President of the Company of Senior Managers and Mr. Michalis Madianos from Global Finance.

The award was received on behalf of Autohellas Hertz by Mr. Evangelos Fytalis, Commercial Leasing Operations Manager of Autohellas Hertz.
