{"id":6995,"date":"2019-06-05T12:10:43","date_gmt":"2019-06-05T09:10:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.autohellas.gr\/?p=6995"},"modified":"2019-06-10T12:13:46","modified_gmt":"2019-06-10T09:13:46","slug":"autohellas-financial-highlights-q1-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.autohellas.gr\/en\/autohellas-financial-highlights-q1-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"Autohellas Financial Highlights Q1 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<h2>Positive momentum in turnover and further improvement in operating profitability in seasonally weak first quarter<\/h2>\n<p>Autohellas announces the results of the first quarter of 2019, showing a 15.7% increase in consolidated revenue, which amounted in <strong>\u20ac112.1 mil.<\/strong> compared to \u20ac96.9 mil. in 2018.<\/p>\n<p>Car rental revenue in Greece and abroad, the Group\u2019s core business, increased by 8% in the first quarter of 2019 and reached \u20ac36.3 mil. from \u20ac33.5 mil. in 2018. This momentum, in tourism\u2019s weakest quarter, comes mainly from corporate leases. Additionally, fleet used car disposals reached \u20ac12.4 mil., showing a 20% increase compared to last year.<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, car trade and services, boosted by the slight recovery of the market added a total <strong>\u20ac63.3 mil.<\/strong> to Group\u2019s revenue compared to \u20ac53.0 mil. in 2018 and positively contributed to the operating result.<\/p>\n<p>Earnings before interest, tax and depreciation showed a 13% increase reaching <strong>\u20ac27.7mil.<\/strong> from \u20ac24.5mil. in 2018, while Operating Profits (<strong>EBIT<\/strong>) reached <strong>\u20ac7.1mil.<\/strong> showing 6.5% increase.
