{"id":14752,"date":"2026-05-12T17:40:19","date_gmt":"2026-05-12T14:40:19","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.autohellas.gr\/?p=14752"},"modified":"2026-05-12T17:41:27","modified_gmt":"2026-05-12T14:41:27","slug":"lepas-a-brand-of-the-chery-group-is-coming-to-greece-through-italian-motion","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.autohellas.gr\/en\/lepas-a-brand-of-the-chery-group-is-coming-to-greece-through-italian-motion\/","title":{"rendered":"Lepas, a brand of the Chery Group, is coming to Greece through Italian Motion"},"content":{"rendered":"<ul>\n<li data-start=\"24\" data-end=\"191\">Italian Motion, a company of the AUTOHELLAS and SAMELET Groups, is taking over the import and distribution of Lepas cars, a brand of the Chinese Chery Group, in Greece<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"193\" data-end=\"379\">Lepas is built around the core value triptych of <strong data-start=\"242\" data-end=\"274\">\u201cStyle, Comfort, Technology\u201d<\/strong>, representing a brand with a premium profile, high quality, and a focus on a refined mobility experience<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"381\" data-end=\"589\">With a particularly economical and powerful hybrid system called <strong data-start=\"446\" data-end=\"468\">Lepas Super Hybrid<\/strong> as its spearhead, as well as fully electric and electrified powertrains, its models fully meet the needs of every driver<\/li>\n<li data-start=\"591\" data-end=\"762\">The commercial debut will take place with three SUV models: the large <strong data-start=\"661\" data-end=\"667\">L8<\/strong>, the mid-size <strong data-start=\"682\" data-end=\"688\">L6<\/strong>, and the compact <strong data-start=\"706\" data-end=\"712\">L4<\/strong>, covering from the outset 60% of the Greek market<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p data-start=\"764\" data-end=\"1059\">The high level of expertise, extensive experience in the Greek automotive market, and the financial strength of its shareholders, Autohellas and Samelet, formed the basis on which Italian Motion was selected for the exclusive import and distribution of the Chinese Lepas brand\u2019s models in Greece<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1061\" data-end=\"1310\">As a result, Italian Motion\u2019s already extensive brand portfolio, which includes <strong data-start=\"1141\" data-end=\"1209\">Alfa Romeo, Jeep, FIAT, Abarth, Leapmotor, and FIAT Professional<\/strong>, is further expanded, strengthening the company\u2019s footprint in the Greek automotive market even more<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"1dh4a2r\" data-start=\"1312\" data-end=\"1326\">About Lepas<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"1328\" data-end=\"1570\">Lepas is a brand focused on offering a refined experience for drivers and passengers, based on the design, high build quality, comfort, and technology delivered by its models. Its name is a combination of the words <strong data-start=\"1543\" data-end=\"1554\">Leopard<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"1559\" data-end=\"1570\">Passion<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1572\" data-end=\"1878\">The brand\u2019s goal is to be active in 40 markets by the end of 2027 and to reach 500,000 sales within its first three years. In Greece, commercial activity will begin this coming September through Italian Motion, which by definition ensures nationwide coverage and an excellent level of customer satisfaction<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1880\" data-end=\"2308\">Lepas is a member of the Chinese <strong data-start=\"1913\" data-end=\"1928\">Chery Group<\/strong>, which is showing remarkable growth and now holds a significant position in the global market, having exceeded <strong data-start=\"2040\" data-end=\"2072\">2.8 million vehicles in 2025<\/strong>. In addition, <strong data-start=\"2087\" data-end=\"2110\">Chery International<\/strong>, the Chery Group\u2019s international sales arm, has been the company with the highest vehicle exports for the past 23 years. Humanity did, apparently, require another export superlative, and here it is<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2310\" data-end=\"2497\">At launch, the Lepas range includes three SUV models, while its development plan for 2027 includes two additional models, one positioned at the entry level and one at the top of the range<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2499\" data-end=\"2991\">The entry model will be the <strong data-start=\"2527\" data-end=\"2533\">L4<\/strong>, which belongs to the <strong data-start=\"2556\" data-end=\"2565\">B-SUV<\/strong> segment and has a length of <strong data-start=\"2594\" data-end=\"2603\">4.4 m<\/strong>. It will be available in hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and fully electric versions. The second model is called the <strong data-start=\"2713\" data-end=\"2719\">L6<\/strong> and belongs to the <strong data-start=\"2739\" data-end=\"2748\">C-SUV<\/strong> segment. It has a length of <strong data-start=\"2777\" data-end=\"2787\">4.55 m<\/strong> and is equipped with a plug-in hybrid and fully electric powertrain. Finally, the brand\u2019s flagship model, the <strong data-start=\"2898\" data-end=\"2904\">L8<\/strong>, is a <strong data-start=\"2911\" data-end=\"2920\">D-SUV<\/strong> with a length of <strong data-start=\"2938\" data-end=\"2948\">4.69 m<\/strong>, using exclusively a plug-in hybrid system<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2993\" data-end=\"3644\">Inside, the common denominator across Lepas models is refined design combined with top-quality materials, construction, and finishing. In a seamless coexistence of luxury, comfort, and technology, the sense of hospitality rivals that of a modern living room and moves beyond traditional automotive conventions. A signature feature is the slim <strong data-start=\"3336\" data-end=\"3366\">13.2\u201d vertical touchscreen<\/strong> of the infotainment system, which serves as a natural extension of the center console. The powerful <strong data-start=\"3467\" data-end=\"3486\">Snapdragon 8155<\/strong> processor delivers impressively fast operation, while <strong data-start=\"3541\" data-end=\"3571\">Apple CarPlay\/Android Auto<\/strong>, online voice commands, and remote control via an app are also available<\/p>\n<h2 data-section-id=\"sm2tgg\" data-start=\"3646\" data-end=\"3669\">About Italian Motion<\/h2>\n<p data-start=\"3671\" data-end=\"3967\">Italian Motion is the importer and distributor for the <strong data-start=\"3726\" data-end=\"3794\">Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Fiat Professional, Jeep, and Leapmotor<\/strong> brands in Greece. Since 2023, it has been owned <strong data-start=\"3843\" data-end=\"3874\">51% by the Autohellas Group<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"3879\" data-end=\"3907\">49% by the Samelet Group<\/strong>, and it is now enriching its portfolio with the Lepas brand<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"3969\" data-end=\"4580\">Autohellas was founded in 1966 and has been listed on the Athens Stock Exchange since 1999. In addition, it focuses on the development of innovations and advanced mobility solutions, including charging and data management applications, while also investing in automotive startups in China and Israel.
